Administer medication within a long term care setting working with geriatric patients. Provide IV therapy, wound dressing changes and carry out physician orders as required .

Monitor patients with complex cardiac issues along with other heart issues such as renal failure, pneumonia, and diabetes. Performing various duties pertaining to constant cardiac monitoring including CVP, response to medication and titration.

Maintain airways and oxygenation status for respiratory failure patients using high-flow oxygen, Opti-flow, C-Pap and Bi-pap. Monitor post-op vitals, set up PCA and closely monitor conditions such as AFIB, RVR, sepsis, COPD, and CHF. 

Administer hydration chemotherapy and other cancer medications and treatments. Assist oncologist with other treatment plans and procedures. Access implanted ports, perform venipuncture and access catheter devices.

Performed high quality radiologic, CT and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients. Monitored patient's well-being during exams and recognized discomfort or medical problems and took appropriate action.
Assisted radiologists with image-guided body biopsies and thyroid biopsies.
 

Provide ADL for geriatric patients including dressing, feeding, bathing and ambulating.

Provide end of life care for patients.

Monitor hemodynamic variances to identify signs of cardiac or other life-threatening complications associated with fluid and electrolyte imbalances.
Experience with ventilators, tracheotomies, arterial lines, IVs, central lines, IV pumps, syringe pumps, EKG monitoring, catheters, and more.
Respond to both rapid response and code blues.
